TULSA, OK — Black Wall Street Theatre, a subsidiary of Black Wall Street Arts, will host its first theatrical production entitled “The Hexagon,” a series of six short plays, at Nightingale Theater, 1416 E. 4th St., Oct. 4-6.

“The Hexagon” showcases the tragedy, the comedy, the tragicomedy and the avant-garde, reflecting the breadth and scope of Black Wall Street Theatre. As part of its mission to further bridge the gap in the Tulsa theatre community, Black Wall Street Theatre is home to a diverse array of playwrights, actors and directors that share a similar worldview despite being from different backgrounds.

The plays are written by playwrights Ricco Wright, Josh Wann, Lisa Campbell, and Kode Ransom, respectively; and directed by directors Michelle Cullom, Kaicee Mayo, Lisa Campbell, and Kode Ransom, respectively.

“We’re excited to put on this six-play series for Tulsa theatre-goers and fans of those involved in it,” said Ricco Wright, executive director of Black Wall Street Theatre.

Tickets for the performance only are $10 each. Tickets for the performance plus a VIP Happy Hour are $25 each. The reception begins at 5 p.m. and is an opportunity for supporters of Black Wall Street Theatre to meet and greet the actors, playwrights, and directors. The performance starts at 7pm.

Tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.com (search for “The Hexagon”) or at the door. For more information, please call Ricco Wright at (918) 521-8201 or email him at ricco@bwsarts.org.
