State Representative Monroe Nichols has officially entered the race for Tulsa’s mayoral seat in the upcoming Tuesday, August 27, 2024 election. At 40, Nichols, who has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since 2016, is positioning himself as a candidate with a bold vision for inclusive growth and economic development.
If elected, Nichols would become the first Black mayor in Tulsa’s history, marking a significant milestone for the city.
