Kathy Taylor is an accomplished attorney, businesswoman, and public servant who served as the Mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 2006 to 2009. Before her tenure as mayor, she held the position of Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce, Tourism, and Workforce Development under Governor Brad Henry. Taylor is recognized for her leadership in revitalizing Tulsa's downtown, spearheading the construction of the BOK Center, and improving public safety and infrastructure in the city.
