A White man, wearing a red โ€œRunning the world since 1776โ€ t-shirt โ€” which is problematic AF when considering what happened to indigenous and Black Americans during the nationโ€™s inception โ€” threw a furious fit when an elderly couple kindly asked him to wear a mask at a Costcoโ€™s store in Fort Myers, Florida.

Mask-wearing has been Costcoโ€™s policy since May, becoming one of the first stores in the nation to implement its own public health plan.

โ€œWe know some members may find this inconvenient or objectionable, but under the circumstances, we believe the added safety is worth any inconvenience. This is not simply a matter of personal choice; a face-covering protects not just the wearer, but others too,โ€ a spokesperson for the company stated.

Despite the storeโ€™s policy, it didnโ€™t stop Costco Ken, whoโ€™s been identified as Daniel Maple, from coming into the building and breathing his unchecked/untested particles into the air during a global pandemic where the majority of Covid-19 carries are asymptomatic; notwithstanding, that it hits the worldโ€™s elderly population the hardest.

The angry man balled his fist and began yelling while walking towards the couple.

โ€œI feel threatened,โ€ he yelled, adding, โ€œback off!โ€

He even screamed expletives, clearly heard in the now via social media video, shouting, โ€œBack the f-ck up, and put your f-cking phone down.โ€

The angry manโ€™s employer, Ted Todd Insurance, caught wind of the video and issued the following statement via tweet.

โ€œThank you to everyone for their comments and messages raising awareness about a former employee at Ted Todd Insurance. Their behavior in the video is in direct conflict with our company values and their employment has been terminated.โ€
