According to Gothamist, a New York City police officer has been terminated for providing security for Donald Trump ally Roger Stone on January 6.

“Salvatore Greco, a member of the citywide traffic task force, was found guilty on multiple counts following a department trial, according to a copy of the decision shared with Gothamist,” reported Jake Offenhartz. “He was terminated by Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell on Thursday.”

According to Raw Story, Greco’s misconduct charges were first reported in February.

Longtime Trump ally and political advisor Stone discussed security plans with an indicted member of the Oath Keepers the day before the January 6 riot, according to the House committee investigating the event, which also alleged extremist groups unified in encrypted chats to plan actions on that day.

According to Forbes, extremist groups came together to discuss plans for January 6 using several encrypted chats, according to the committee, including one called “Friends of Stone” that included Stone along with Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes.

“During his disciplinary trial, prosecutors alleged Greco worked as an unpaid bodyguard for Stone, accompanying the longstanding Trump ally to Washington, D.C. as rioters attacked the U.S. Capitol building,” continued the report. “He was also reportedly charged with dodging investigators’ questions and hanging around Kristin Davis, the so-called ‘Manhattan Madam’ who was previously busted for running a prostitution ring. NYPD policy bars officers from knowingly associating with a person reasonably believed to have ‘engaged in criminal activities.’”

In addition to Greco, Stone was seen flanked by members of far-right paramilitary group the Oath Keepers ahead of the attack on the Capitol. Many top Oath Keepers now face charges of seditious conspiracy.

“Stone was convicted of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstruction related to his attempts to stymie Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election,” noted the report. “He was ultimately pardoned by Trump.”

Roger Stone received nudes of Alex Jones’ wife.

In the most recent bizarre twist of many involving Stone, lawyers for the conspiracy theorist Alex Jones accidentally gave his legal adversaries a nude photo of his wife that he had texted to the conservative political operative Roger Stone, an attorney involved in the matter has acknowledged.

“I don’t know if that was consensual,” said Bankston, who recently won a nearly $50m judgment against Jones for the family of a six-year-old boy killed during the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting, which for years Jones falsely claimed was a hoax aimed at forcing nationwide gun control reform.

According to The Guardian, the lawyer representing Sandy Hook parents, Mark Bankston, received the accidentally leaked photos and noted “if it wasn’t consensual, Mrs Wulff Jones should know about that, and there might be something that needs to be done about that.”

“I’m sure this was some type of brag exchange – [a] look how hot my wife is type thing,” she said to Insider. “However, that’s really the least of my problems right now.”

Wulff Jones later told Insider she was “unaware that this occurred” and was upset that Jones “took privilege to send the image to someone without my knowledge.”

  1. What we know about Trump world keeps getting weirder and weirder. The Feb. 6 committee has sworn testimony from Republican Trump appointees about how the first ever alliance of the 3%ers, Oath Keepers and Proud Boys were organized to “soften up” the Capitol by attacking police while the Trump “rally” was in full swing. They never attended the rally but went right to work on breaching the Capitol so when the marchers from the rally got there they would just flow into the Capitol Bldg.. Fox says this is a fantasy but now we know it is true that this was no march that got out of hand but a well planned attack on the Capitol. The BWST, the New York Police Dept. and others now verify that Roger Stone was meeting and planning “security” with the Oath Keepers the day before the insurrection. The Secret Service was in on it and Pence knew it when he refused to get into his Secret Service car expressing concern where they would take him. Now all texts from the Secret Service, Defense Dept. and Homeland Security Trump appointees have “disappeared” from the dates Jan.5 through 7. Just a harmless coincidence?
