Beauty content creator Jackie Aina has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA), according to an exclusive from Variety.
Aina started her YouTube channel in 2009 and has built a reach of over 10 million between her YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram accounts. Her influence has produced best-selling collaborations with beauty favorites like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Morphe, and e.l.f. Cosmetics.
Jackie Aina’s signing with UTA is another milestone in her professional development.
Aina saw a breakthrough in her content when she started being herself.
“I was like, that’s not even my personality,” she told InStyle. “Why do I act so serious in my videos? I realized I’d never even sit through my own upload. I was just editing content and then putting it on YouTube, not actually enjoying it myself. If you don’t even consume your own content, what makes you think other people are?”

In 2020, the mogul co-founded the self-care brand FORVR Mood with her fiancee, Denis Asamoah. The company sells candles and just released a fragrance line. “I’m a fragrance girl through and through,” Aina told CNBC. “And when we started FORVR Mood, we started with candles, and I was like, if [customers] are not here for it, I will be burning these candles by myself. We’re just going to have a lifetime supply of candles [and] that’s honestly good enough for me.”
Splitting off from beauty, the lifestyle creator has also launched Lavishly Jackie to focus on her love of luxury. In her bio, she states she is the niche and that she’ll be focusing on visual storytelling in addition to lifestyle and luxury.
Aina has added executive producer to her resume, as she expands into entertainment.
Aina executive produced the series The Black Beauty Effect, which is available to stream on Netflix. She will also star in the documentary “Social Beauty” and serve as an executive producer.
“I’m so excited to be a part of something that shows our impact as black women in beauty,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I hope through this project, people will see that so many of us are passionate, multifaceted, and more than what you see outwardly. It is an honor being a part of a community that encourages so many of us to believe in ourselves and to look and feel beautiful even when oftentimes the media encourages otherwise.”

Aina received the NAACP’s first-ever YouTuber of the Year at the 49th NAACP Image Awards. The award-winning mogul has also been honored with Refinery29’s Beauty Innovator of the Year, AdWeek Creator Visionary Award, WWD Beauty Inc Awards’ Influencer of the Year, and Glamour’s Woman of the Year.
The Nigerian American will continue to be managed by Digital Brand Architects, the first agency to represent social media creators and publishers. Now that Jackie Aina has signed with UTA, she’ll be represented in all areas to expand her career opportunities.
