SANTA MONICA, Calif. — America’s multicultural voters are sounding the alarm. Their message is sharp, urgent and impossible to ignore. The latest My Code Intelligence Center report reveals historic disapproval of Donald Trump among voters of color and key communities.

Only 33% say they approve of his performance, the lowest rating since the survey began. The study includes over 3,500 respondents from Black, AANHPI, Hispanic, LGBTQIA+, and women voter segments. The message: they’re fed up.

Fears of political violence, ICE raids, rising costs and unchecked government power dominate their concerns heading into the 2026 midterms. These aren’t theoretical worries. They reflect lived experiences in communities often targeted, surveilled and ignored.

These voters feel betrayed by false promises, failed policies, and growing threats to their dignity and survival. Many are shifting course, rejecting parties that treat them like data points instead of people.

“We’re seeing a shift,” said Junelle Cavero, head of politics at My Code. “These voters are watching closely and want change.” She continued, “Affordability, immigration enforcement and violence are fueling serious unease. Trust in political messaging is rapidly eroding.”

Key Findings From Wave 13

Trump’s Approval Hits Record Low
Just 34% of voters across all surveyed groups approve of Trump. Black women and AANHPI youth reported the lowest numbers. His support has fallen two percentage points since the previous survey wave.

Political Violence Fuels Deep Anxiety
Over 80% believe political violence is becoming widespread. More than half believe their communities face heightened risk. These fears are highest among LGBTQIA+ and multicultural voters.

Immigration Enforcement Deepens Distrust
Nearly 60% disapprove of the government’s immigration policies. One in three knows someone harmed by Trump-era immigration enforcement. Over 70% support a pathway to citizenship. Only 14% prefer exclusive focus on border enforcement.

Tariffs and Inflation Drive Economic Stress
More than 60% expect tariffs to raise prices on everyday goods. Top concerns include food costs, housing, healthcare, and wages. Economic survival is now a defining political issue for these voters.

Transparency Crisis Around Epstein Files
Sixty percent believe the government is hiding Epstein-related information. Nearly 40% believe there’s a full cover-up. Demands for truth and accountability are rising across communities.

A Warning Heading into 2026

This survey is a political earthquake. The so-called Republican “realignment” among voters of color looks shaky and premature. Support for Trump and the GOP is unraveling among groups they once hoped to court. And the consequences could reshape the entire 2026 map.

These voters helped sway past elections. They remain powerful, organized, and politically aware. But they’re tired of false choices. They demand policies rooted in justice, not fear. They want leaders who understand struggle, not just strategy.

Multicultural voters are not a monolith. But they are united by rising fear, deep frustration, and a determination to be heard. Candidates who fail to listen may lose more than an election. They may lose the trust of a generation.
