TULSA, Okla. — Oasis Fresh Market will host an emergency free lunch and dinner distribution today (Wednesday, January 28th) from 3:00– 5:00 PM at its Pine and Peoria location to support children impacted by recent winter weather school closures.
With schools closed for the past three days due to severe winter conditions, thousands of Tulsa children who rely on school lunch programs and food assistance may be missing regular meals.
In response, Oasis Fresh Market is stepping in to ensure children in the community have access to nutritious food during this critical time.
All children in need are welcome to receive a free lunch or dinner during the distribution window. No purchase is required.
“Oasis Fresh Market exists to serve this community, especially in moments like this,” said AJ Johnson, the store’s owner. “When schools close, food insecurity doesn’t pause. We want families to know they are not alone, and help is available today.”
