TULSA, Okla. — GRAND Mental Health has launched a new digital platform to expand behavioral health care across Oklahoma.
On April 6, the organization announced ApexCare, an app-based platform designed to improve access and coordination. The platform also delivers a more seamless digital experience for clients.
ApexCare is available on iOS and Android devices. As a result, clients can access care directly from their smartphones. This approach removes the need for specialized devices and reduces barriers.
Expanding Access Through Mobile-First Mental Health Care
ApexSentinel developed the platform over one year. GRAND clinicians also helped shape its design and functionality. Their input ensured the platform meets real clinical needs.
The app creates individualized client profiles. It then connects users with the right specialists based on their needs. For example, veterans can access therapists focused on PTSD. Others can connect with substance use disorder specialists.

Real-Time Coordination and Personalized Treatment Tools
In addition, ApexCare includes medication management tools. Clients and providers can view prescriptions, medication lists, and refill information in real time. This shared access improves coordination across care teams.
The platform also supports collaboration with outside providers. Consequently, clients receive more aligned and consistent treatment.
ApexCare allows clients to track their emotional well-being daily. Over time, users can identify patterns and trends. Clinicians can then adjust treatment plans based on this data.
Moreover, the app includes a resource hub with educational content. Clients can access videos and articles on symptoms, coping strategies, and wellness techniques.
“ApexCare removes barriers to care, ensuring our clients can connect to mental health support quickly and seamlessly—right when it matters most,” said Josh Cantwell, Chief Executive Officer of GRAND Mental Health.
“This technology reflects our commitment to innovation and impact, and it represents a meaningful step forward in how we support wellness, connection, and better outcomes for the people we serve,” Cantwell adds.

Closing Gaps in Mental Health Access Across Oklahoma
The launch comes as providers expand digital mental health tools nationwide. In many areas, access to care still remains limited.
In Oklahoma, access often varies by region. Therefore, digital platforms like ApexCare can help close those gaps.
With this launch, GRAND Mental Health continues to invest in accessible care. The organization aims to reach more Oklahomans through technology-driven solutions.
