Mainstream media locally and nationally is the propaganda arm of white supremacy. This one picture, published by Tulsa’s only daily general interest print newspaper, has caused an uproar within a community.
The unspoken racial tension this town has been dealing with since the 1921 Tulsa Massacre is the elephant in the room when it comes to suspensions, and TPS needs to address it head-on.
