Tulsa, Okla. – Local Football with Aug. 7 being the first Official Day of Football practice for Tulsa Public Schools, there’s already much talk or “rumble” about the rivalries and great football atmosphere, and Tulsan’s can’t wait.
The sounds of fans cheering, whistles blowing, and helmets crashing on the gridiron are sure to bring back the nostalgic feelings that we’ve all missed during the off-season.
Tulsa Central, Booker T. Washington, and McClain High School will all return to the field this season, amazing the fans and spectators, but some have a few changes. There’s new coaching staff for some, new players for others, and all teams are seeing improvements because of it.
Tulsan’s will get to see yet another great year of healthy competition in the city’s annual All-City Football Preview, which is August 18, 2017, at 6:00 pm. Sources say that due to some repairs possibly being needed, All-City game locations might vary.
Be sure to check with your local favorite high school staff to find the correct place to see your favorite team take the field on August 18, 2017. Make your way to the stadiums this fall, grab some popcorn, and cheer our youth on to many victories.
