6th Annual MVP Manhood Summit
We are recruiting 100 positive and stable men to help us inform, inspire, and empower our mentees during our annual Manhood 101 Conference. The conference is scheduled for Friday, November, 16, 2018 from 8:00am-6:00pm. Lunch and T-Shirt will be provided for first 50 men that register.
The mission of the Manhood Summit is to inform, inspires, and empower 8th grade Black males (although any kid the school selects is welcomed) from Monore Demonstration Academy, Central Junior High School, Carver Middle School, and KIPP Charter School that come from single-mom households. Through an interactive, application-based approach, Manhood Summit goes beyond academic instruction and focuses on relevant and practical life skills critical to success in our society.
