TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Public Schools Summer Café program will be offered again this year from June 3 through August 2. Summer Café provides meals at no cost to any child age 18-years or younger. Children do not need to sign-up to participate in Summer Café – they can simply show up at a Summer Café site to receive meals.
The district is looking for sites such as summer camps, neighborhood play and learn groups, community or church activity groups within the Tulsa Public Schools district boundaries that would like to partner with the district by handing out meals to Summer Café participants. Participating as a Summer Café site is a great opportunity to help disrupt the food insecurity cycle for the children in our community.
