Tulsa, Okla. — On November 22, 2019, at Langston University Tulsa, the 11th Annual Social Justice Symposium will be held. This yearly event is free and open to the public. The campus will host over 30 speakers that represent a wide variety of expertise in their fields, including health, education, environmental justice, criminal justice, spirituality and civil rights.
“We have some amazing participants this year to help us discuss and explore complex subjects and how they impact all of us, regardless of our differences,” said Dr. John Sassin. “This event is free and open to anybody who wants to attend, and so we hope to see some new faces, not just folks attending the university.”
The symposium promises to be a unique opportunity for attendees to network and share ideas that will enhance the quality of life and promote human rights for Oklahomans and beyond.
Registration is on-site and begins at 8:30 am. The Symposium is all day and ends at 4 pm. Lunch will be provided at no cost for those who attend.
