TULSA, Okla.—Gathering Place, a world-class, 66.5-acre Park that will ultimately transform nearly 100 acres of Tulsa’s iconic waterfront along the Arkansas River into a dynamic, interactive environment, is adjusting its 2021 Signature Events programming.

The event changes are as followed:

Caribbean Vibes—A Reggae Carnival will no longer take place this Saturday, June 26, 2021. Gathering Place will host the calypso-inspired reggae festival on Saturday, September 25, where guests will be immersed in an island paradise filled with food, live entertainment, and dancing.

Oklahoma Tribal Celebration will now take place on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Oklahoma is home to more than 39 Native American tribes, and together, we host one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive Native American festivals. Oklahoma Tribal Celebration is a proud expression of music, dance, art, food, and storytelling.

The updated Gathering Place 2021 Signature Events calendar also includes the following events taking place from July to December:

July 4,  Fireworks Watch Party 

Gathering Place is adding a spark to a Tulsa tradition and teaming up with River Parks for an up-close view of Folds of Honor FreedomFest, the city’s best Fourth of July fireworks show! Enjoy a day full of fun in our interactive water areas throughout the Park, plus food trucks, strolling entertainment, and music. Make sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch the fireworks light up the sky from the best seat in Tulsa.     

July 24, La Fiesta de Tulsa
Celebrate the Latin and Hispanic cultures in our community with La Fiesta de Tulsa at Gathering Place! This annual, fan-favorite festival brings Latin cultures together for an unforgettable night filled with cultural food and drink, crafts, and live performances. Don’t miss out on the most festive fiesta in the region.

October 30-31, Sweets & Treats on Spooky Street presented by U.S. Cellular
No tricks, just treats! Don’t miss a kid-friendly trick-or-treating experience for the whole family to enjoy with an evening of fun games, costume contests, live entertainment, and so much more. It’s a monster mash of memories.

December 17-January 2, Winter Wonderland presented by American Airlines
Gathering Place will transform into a Winter Wonderland, spreading holiday cheer with special performances, carolers, and festive food and drinks. Enjoy a ride on the Winter Wonderland Express and see thousands of twinkling lights throughout the Park! Don’t forget to capture family photos with Santa Claus and create new traditions in our holiday village.

Gathering Place Signature Events that will no longer take place in 2021 include Tulsa Beer & Wine Festival, Riverside Rib Fest, and Trucktoberfest.
