NEW YORK CITY — Kevin Hart brought his latest comedy to Manhattan Monday night as Netflix rolled out the black carpet for the “72 Hours” premiere.
Hart, Teyana Taylor and Marcello Hernández led the cast at The Plaza Hotel on July 20. Kam Patterson, Ben Marshall, Michael Mando and Mike Epps also attended, according to event coverage published by Just Jared.
Hart arrived with his wife, Eniko Hart. Taylor, dressed in Saint Laurent, was photographed with her parents, Nikki Taylor and Tito Smith.
The New York celebration came four days before “72 Hours” begins streaming exclusively on Netflix.
Kevin Hart Crashes a Gen Z Bachelor Party
In “72 Hours,” Hart plays a 40-year-old advertising executive whose career is in trouble. After being mistakenly added to a group chat, he joins a crew of twentysomethings heading to Miami for a three-day bachelor party.
The decision drops Hart’s character into a weekend of escalating chaos as he tries to prove that he can keep up with the younger group—and possibly rescue his career along the way.
The R-rated comedy runs approximately one hour and 45 minutes, according to Netflix’s official listing.
‘72 Hours’ Blends Established and Emerging Talent
The film pairs Hart with an ensemble spanning several generations of comedy and entertainment.
Hernández, Marshall and Patterson bring backgrounds in sketch and stand-up comedy. Taylor, Epps, Mando, Mason Gooding, Zach Cherry and Andy Garcia help round out the cast.
Gooding and Cherry appear in the movie but were not photographed at Monday’s premiere, according to published event coverage.
The film also reunites Hart with director Tim Story. Their previous collaborations include “Think Like a Man,” “Ride Along,” “Ride Along 2” and the concert film “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain.”
Story praised the chemistry among Hart and the movie’s younger cast members.
“Kevin [and] the crew—Marcello, Mason, Ben and Kam—are a dynamic team that you just cannot miss,” Story said in Netflix’s preview of the film.
Who Made ‘72 Hours’?
Matt Mider, Kevin Burrows, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg wrote the screenplay.
Hart and Story produced the film with John Davis, Hurwitz, Schlossberg, Josh Heald, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Bryan Smiley and Will Packer, according to Netflix’s official production credits.
The project adds another ensemble comedy to Hart’s Netflix catalog, which already includes “Me Time,” “The Man from Toronto” and “Lift.”
“72 Hours” begins streaming exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 24, 2026.
