Chamber to donate archival material to Greenwood Cultural Center
Press Release from Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce
On Tuesday, May 28, at 11 am the Tulsa Regional Chamber will hold a press conference to address the organization’s recorded history from 1921.
Chamber leadership will donate a ceremonial copy of board meeting minutes from the weeks following the Tulsa Race Massacre for preservation at the Greenwood Cultural Center as a significant historical document.
Chamber staff will also detail specific initiatives and programs that align with the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Speakers will include Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber; Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum; Mechelle Brown, program coordinator at the Greenwood Cultural Center; David Stratton, 2019 Chamber chair and executive vice president of Tulsa corporate banking for BOK Financial; and Kuma Roberts, the Chamber’s executive director of diversity, equity and inclusion.
