TULSA, Okla.โBeginning in April, Tulsans can experience some of their favorite free event series at Guthrie Green in the Tulsa Arts District. Additionally, the park will host new events in April and May, including Solar Spectacle and Inspyral Fire Circus.
Food Truck Wednesdays, every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., starting April 3
Downtown Tulsaโs weekly lunch tradition, Food Truck Wednesday, returns to Guthrie Green on April 3. Each week, savor a delicious meal al fresco from a rotating list of local food trucks, listen to live music, and play lawn games. New this year, attendees can participate in 30-minute stretch and toning classes on the dock during the event, starting at 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. The classes begin on May 1 and are held in May, June, September and October. Food Truck Wednesday is every Wednesday in April through June, and September through October. The series will also feature themes on select dates, such as international cuisine and healthy foods.
First Friday Art Crawl in the Tulsa Arts District and Greenwood, April 5 & May 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Shop from 40 local art and craft vendors during Guthrie Greenโs first outdoor vendor market of the year on April 5. In addition to shopping, guests can grab dinner from one of the food trucks and listen to live music. During Aprilโs First Friday Art Crawl, Tiny Things by Bowen is hosting the โTiny Tulsa Mini Museum and Marketโ in Fly Loft. The museum will showcase mini creations from local artists in a cardboard box.
Guthrie Green will host its first Off the Cuff Concert of the year featuring indie rock group Kurt Vile and The Violators during the May First Friday Art Crawl on May 3.
Sunday Salsa on the Green, biweekly from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., starting April 7
End your Sunday in the Tulsa Arts District grooving to the beat of DJ Klave! Sunday Salsa on the Green begins with a 30-minute dance lesson. After the lesson participants can show off their moves on the dance floor as DJ Klave plays a mix of salsa and bachata music. This bi-weekly dance party is held April through November on the Guthrie Green dock.
NEW! Solar Spectacle, April 8 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Experience a moment in history on the Green during Solar Spectacle on Monday, April 8. This cosmic solar eclipse watch party will feature music by DJ Doc Free, tasty food from Comida Sol Y Vida food truck, and a variety of space-themed vendors. Guthrie Green will provide viewing glasses. However, quantities are limited, and guests are encouraged to bring their own.
Movie in the Park, every 3rd Thursday of the month, starting April 18
Guthrie Greenโs 2024 Movie in the Park Series kicks off on April 18 with a free screening of the 1992 baseball comedy A League of Their Own. The film was selected by the public in a social media poll.
Every third Thursday of the month, Tulsans are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy pre-show activities themed around the movie, including food trucks, vendors, and more. Additional 2024 movie nights include:

NEW! Inspyral Fire Circus, April 19 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Experience the thrill of the Inspyral Fire Circus at Guthrie Green on Friday, April 19 in the Tulsa Arts District. Professional fire performers from local entertainment company Insypral Circus will showcase acrobatics, comedy, and contortion in this 90-minute vintage cabaret performance. Before the show, enjoy music and interact with the performers as they walk around greeting guests. The event is free and suitable for all ages.

Record Club โ April 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Enjoy a unique outdoor listening experience in downtown Tulsa at Guthrie Greenโs Record Club, in partnership with Josey Records. Lie on the grass or on a large bean bag chair while DJ Doc Free plays the release of two vinyl records on the parkโs state-of-the-art sound system. The first Record Club of the season is on Friday, April 26 and will feature The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift and Light Verse by Iron & Wine.
Fitness on the Green, weekly Sunday through Thursday, starting May 1 in the Tulsa Arts District
Stay active and healthy with Guthrie Greenโs revamped Fitness on the Green Series, sponsored by Fowler Automotive. In addition to crowd favorites, such as Zumba and Yoga, Guthrie Green is adding new classes this year, along with themed workouts, on select dates. The new classes include Stretch and Toning, Hip-Hop Dance Fitness, and Barre. The 2024 series will feature spring, summer, and fall schedules with classes held weekly, Sunday through Thursday. All classes are led by a licensed YMCA instructor and other fitness professionals. The spring fitness schedule includes:
- Sunday Zumba with Ariane โ Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Monday Zumba โ Mondays, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Hip-Hop Dance Fitness โ Tuesdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Stretch and Toning โ Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m. & 12 p.m.
- Yoga โ Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Bootcamp โ Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Kurt Vile and The Violators โ An Off the Cuff Concert, May 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Indie rock group Kurt Vile and The Violators are extending their U.S. tour and will headline a free concert at Guthrie Green in the Tulsa Arts District on Friday, May 3. Vile is the co-founder and former lead guitarist of the rock band The War on Drugs. He is also recognized as one of the most prolific indie rock voices with a distinct chilled-out guitar style. The concert will also include opening performances by local musicians Paul Benjaman Band and Dj Afistaface; and Manila Ice, Frios Gourmet Pops, Loco Lemon, Ruthโs Chicken, Pita Place, and VโFresco food trucks. This is the first concert of Guthrie Greenโs 2024 Off the Cuff Series and will coincide with the May First Friday Art Crawl.
