TULSA, Okla. — In a recent poll conducted by The Black Wall Street Times, Tulsans, who took The Black Wall Street Times mayoral choice poll, chose Gregory C. Robinson II as the city’s next mayor. Mayoral incumbent, G.T. Bynum trails Robinson by 81.7% in The Black Wall Street Times poll.

Around 40% of The Black Wall Street Times readership is White, 50% Black and 10% other. The majority of BWSTimes readership is between 25 and 45 years of age. A vast majority of BWSTimes poll-takers came from zip codes 74114, 74105, and 74135 — the mid-town area. The next highest poll participation came from the Pearl District and north Tulsa area. The BWSTimes poll overwhelmingly shows Robinson in the lead.

This poll isn’t a prediction of who will win the Tuesday, August 25, 2020, Tulsa Mayoral Election but illuminates the reality that Robinson has a large following among our readership and has a legitimate shot at unseating the current incumbent.
